A night out on Basel Stadt

A few weeks ago, Mat and I received an invitation in the mail.  The invitation is sent to new residents of Basel Stadt to learn about how the local government works and different things that are offered throughout the city.  We had a chance to go into the famous Rathaus and sit in the council chambers. 

After the talk, we had a chance to go on a Rhine cruise where they had food and drinks.  We sailed along the Rhine for an hour and chatted to other new residents.  It was a nice evening to spend out - sans the kids.
