My mom and dad surprised Tricia with a girl's trip to come and see me in Basel, and we had an amazing time. I am glad they came!
We took a ton of pictures, but here is our time in Paris which we spent a few days. IT was lovely to see it with these two women - no kids in tow. We strolled and ate good food and didn't worry about having to keep track of anyone but ourselves. We had a marvelous time.
We got off the plane, dumped our bags at the hotel, and headed to an outdoor cafe near by. There is no better way to start Paris than with pastries and coffee.

Yes - there is another Statue of Liberty. The maker is actually from Colmar, France (we have seen his house). This version is quite small, but stands on the Seine

This is the view from our hotel. It was awesome to see that each evening

Pictures do not do it justice how big it is
There is a huge park between the Arc and the Louvre. We pulled up a chair, put our feet up and enjoyed the sunshine

See all of those people? They are in line to get into Versailles. (we had taken a tour). Those people are going to stand there for 3 hours before they even get inside.
