Summer Time

This past month we were in Pennsylvania visiting family and friends.  It was our first visit back to the states in a year.  The first few days we felt a little out of our element (plus we were jet lagged), but soon we settled into the routine of what it means to live in America - ease of shopping, decent prices, and fattening food.  We had a nice time and the 4 weeks went by quickly.  We ate at all of our favorite restaurants, saw 5 movies, and bought new clothes.  Arlington, my mom and I went to NYC for two days to see two musicals.  Cainan and I went to the symphony.  We swam with cousins and went to amusement parks.  We crammed a years worth of activities into 4 weeks.

By the end of the trip, I was done being a visitor.  It is hard being in someone else's home (Even if it is family) for a month.  Mat didn't get to come with us, so I was the lone parent the entire time.  I am glad we went, but next year I think I would do things a little differently.

Here are a few pictures of our time there.
